About the role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to support a key project over the next six months.


As part of the ongoing Tech-Tonic 2 project, this role is crucial in ensuring that our business requirements are fully understood and delivered effectively across the council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align business and technical teams on project objectives.
  • Support project teams in ensuring that business requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist and support in developing reports, process models and track project progress and outcomes.
  • Provide insights into business impacts, risks and opportunities during projects.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Business Analysis role with strong understanding of business analysis framework.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with business process modelling, data analysis and project documentation.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and bridge the gap between business and technical areas.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience working within [Agile/Waterfall] methodologies.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Projects.
