Working in our Schools

Our education environment offers a rich mix of community and faith schools, as well as academies and free schools, giving the perfect opportunity for career development in various settings. Of the 41 primary schools in H&F, 100% are judged by OFSTED as ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’.

There are 12 secondary schools in the borough, 11 of which are academies or free schools. Sixth form provision has expanded over the last few years with seven secondary schools now offering their own sixth forms alongside the dedicated provision at William Morris Sixth Form. Our four special schools also go from strength to strength with Queensmill recently expanding to be an all-through school.
