About the role
Hammersmith and Fulham, rated nationally by Ofsted as one of the top Local Authorities, never stops moving forward. Our ambition is to focus even more on increasing the quality of our practice and the work with children, young people and families in order to sustain positive change. As a department, we promote a highly supportive culture that allows you to do what you do best, encompassing individual mentoring, having manageable workloads and clear developmental opportunities.
The Access Officer role will provide support to social workers and practitioners to free up their time to enable more time to be spent providing advice and guidance to those who have concerns about children and families. This support will include customer facing and back office activity, including sign-posting children and families to appropriate services, uploading information onto Mosaic, liaising with partner agencies, arranging and supporting meetings, supporting with logistical and travel arrangements, monitoring data and producing a range of reports in relation to contacts and referrals.
Team members may be asked to work in a flexible and agile way across the operations function to carry out other reasonable duties to ensure resilience and service delivery.
Our mission is to be the best council. To do this we need the best people to help build our vision. If you’re looking to develop your career in a fast-paced, professional environment whilst making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
