Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday office hours)

Salary: £27,789 to £29,874 per annum (Scale 5)

We are recruiting for a PSD Data and Business Intelligence Coordinator within Professional Standards Department (PSD).  This new vacancy is due to an expansion of the department which means you arrive at an exciting time. 
 

For our Data and Business Intelligence Coordinator vacancy we are seeking someone who has experience with utilising data from different sources.  You will be collecting the data, then input into our spreadsheets and present for further use within PSD and the wider force for a range of operational reasons.  You will be maintaining the upkeep of our internal system Centurion which includes being responsible for managing internal users and work flows. Part of this maintenance includes improving Centurion through rigorous testing to ensure updates work correctly.
 

You will need to have experience of complex record systems and data extraction, with the ability to change data from what is inputted to being visually presented for further purpose.  Experience of Power BI is an advantage for this role.
 

Alongside the day-to-day duties of the role of PSD Data and Business Intelligence Coordinator, there is management of Freedom of Information (FOI) and Subject Access Requests.

 

About Professional Standards Department (PSD)

 

PSD are based over three locations with the main office in Winchester then hubs at Fareham and Waterlooville which gives flexibility over where to base yourself, plus there is an opportunity to work from home on a regular basis.  Our teams administers public complaints and misconduct on behalf of force, also support the PSD investigation team.

Essential Qualifications

 

Educated to QCF Level 2 (5 passes) or to have undertaken work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.

 

 

 

Essential Experience

 

Experience of maintaining and updating complex record keeping systems.


Good literacy, numeracy and computer skills.


Previous experience of, or trained in the use of, data extraction or visualisation tools.
