Job Title: Volunteer Rural Mounted Patrol HC619272
Location: Various across Hampshire in particular we would like to recruit more volunteers for the New Forest West, Isle of Wight, Winchester, Basingstoke, Hart and Rushmoor, Aldershot
Salary: Volunteer - Travel expenses will be paid
Hours: Max 15 hours per week - minimum of 2 hours a week but not exceeding 15 hours per week.

The successful candidate will engage with rural communities via high visibility patrols.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- To assist in providing a high visible mounted presence to provide reassurance to the rural residents.
- To have regular contact with Country Watch Team and Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) in your local area, ensuring duty reports and feedback are completed and returned to Country Watch Co-ordinator
- To ensure relevant information and intelligence is shared with NPT and the country watch team.
- To engage in Continued Professional Development training as required
- To assist with community events, raising awareness of the role.
- To give regular and effective service.
Volunteers must own a horse or have permission from owner of another horse to undertake mounted rural patrols.
