Location: Police HQ, Eastleigh  - We have hybrid working based on needs of business

  

Salary:  SO1,  £35.526 - £37.692 per annum 


Contract : Permanent

  

Hours: 37 hours per week

About The Role

To lead and manage an effective business support function within 
Corporate insights. To include the administration and governance of force 
policy, strategy and support the administration of the force governance
structure and other Organisational Learning, Partnership and Inspection 
team administrative functions.


Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to :


1. To line manage the OLT Co-ordinators and Corporate Support Officer 
supporting them to administer their core functions.

2.To provide expertise and oversight to the timely processing, quality 
assurance and governance of Force Policy and Procedure, ensuring 
processes are robust and that we are legally and APP/College of Policing 
compliant.

3. To manage and oversee business administration functions including 
standard form processing, strategy oversight, administration and board 
support.

4. To support the Business and Learning Manager with the delivery of the 
Force Management Statement and force wide business planning as 
required.

5. To administer and track the Corporate Insights Business Plan.

6. To support administration of the core boards led by Corporate Insights.

Essential Qualifications

Educated to QCF Level 5, or work experience 
deemed to have brought the role holder to a comparable level.


Essential Experience

Experience of office/business management overseeing a range 
of diverse business functions, business administration and 
leadership of a team. 
Ability to use a range of software and Microsoft 365 packages 
and experience of developing business processes and 
procedures and quality assurance of policy and procedure.
Desirable: Familiarity with policing organisation and structure.
