Job Title: Business Continuity Officer
Salary Range: £29,109 - £31,296
Work Location: Near Fareham
Hours per week: 37 hours Monday – Friday with flexible office hours

We are looking for an motivated individual whom has a passion for Business resilience and can ideally bring experience from previous roles, or can demonstrate a high level of motivation in order to learn on the job at speed, in order to join us as a Business Continuity Officer, within a national policing unit.
More about the role
To assist, encourage and promote awareness of Business Continuity throughout the organisation, through communication channels, presentations and training exercises i.e. table top or simulation exercises.
Gather information and data to assist in compiling post-Incident / post-Exercise reports, ensuring key learnings are captured and shared.
Support the Business and Facilities Manager in the development of BC Plans, delivery & maturity of BIA’s, including of key dependencies including People, Facilities, and Technology.
Undertake research to enable horizon scanning to ensure sufficient information and advice regarding impending risks.
Flexible working requests will be considered for this vacancy. The successful applicant must work a minimum of 30 hours, across 4 days. Working hours can be discussed at interview.

- Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
