Salary Range: Scale 5 £29,109 - £31,296 per annum
Work Location: Strategic Headquarters, Eastleigh (Hybrid Working – office on a Tuesday and rest of the week working from home)
Hours per week: 37. Part time hours will be considered – minimum 3 full days.
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary require a committed individual to join the People and Development Support Team as an Assistant HR / People Advisor.
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will report to a Senior HR / People Advisor to support the Constabulary’s people function in delivering timely and high quality administrative service whilst acting as the first point of contact to the Constabulary’s internal & external customers.
You will need to be educated to QCF Level 2 (5 passes) or have comparable work experience with at least 2 years’ experience of working in a customer focused HR/people environment providing information and general advice. You will require excellent organisational and administration skills including experience of using an IT system/software to compile & analyse information and an ability to communicate with people at different levels across the organisation.

Essential Qualifications
- Educated to QCF Level 2 (5 passes) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
Essential Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience of working in a customer focused HR/people environment providing information and general advice.
- Excellent administration skills including experience of using an IT system/software to compile & analyse information.
- Good communication skills (both written & oral) with people at different levels of the organisation.
