Salary - Scale 5 - £29,109.00 - £31,296.00 per annum
Hours – 37 hrs per week

About the role

Currently located in 15 police stations across the County, the Front Counters team are dedicated to providing the best possible service to the public and internal stakeholders.
Police Contact Enquiry Officers are responsible for providing efficient and effective front counter service to members of the general public.

We are looking for candidates who:
- Are qualified to QCF Level 2 or has comparable work experience.

Are able to critically assess enquiries and gather information through face to face contact, telephone call backs and electronic systems.

Have a full UK driving license (if you are required to travel to alternative locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to provide cover, use of pool cars will be available).

Have proven experience of working in a busy customer / public service environment.

Have paper-based and electronic clerical skills including experience of creating high volumes of varied documentation.
- Feel confident dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.

Have knowledge of Windows based Microsoft software and can confidently use IT equipment.
