Are you highly organised, excellent at paying attention to detail and enjoy working in a busy office?

 

We are looking for someone to join our team issuing Firearms Licences to members of the public within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight area.

 

The successful candidate will help us process applications for new licenses as well as applications to renew current licences. They will be responsible for ensuring that applications are complete and will need to contact applicants for further information if required. They will also help with the day to day management of license holders, such as issuing replacement certificates, updating addresses and processing sales notifications. The department mailbox is monitored Monday to Friday and part of the role will be monitoring this, responding to enquiries and taking action when required.

 

The position is based in Winchester, however once fully trained, there may be the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week.

Essential Qualifications


Educated to QCF Level 2 (3 to 5 GCSE to include Maths and English) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level
