Are you looking for a new opportunity within Intelligence?

 

As a Transferee Intelligence Unit Detective Inspector , you will manage the Intelligence Teams and promote the efficient and effective use of operational information and intelligence through the application of the National Intelligence Model. You will be expected to be responsible for the delivery of the intelligence processes which support the management of Level 1 and Level 2 criminality.

 

Key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

 

 

1. To manage the quality of intelligence reviewing, development and briefings.

 

2. To manage the Daily Intelligence Meeting.

 

3. To report and advise on intelligence gaps and requirements.

 

4. To co-ordinate the Organised Crime Group Mapping Process.

 

5. Attend and contribute to relevant meetings at local, Force and Regional level.

 

6. Provide tactical direction to managers on behalf of the TCG, suggesting the use of specialist resources as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

 

  • You must be a serving police officer from a Home Office Force with no current performance or conduct concerns.
     
  • You must have successfully completed the two year probationary period and the Policing Diploma, or your forces equivalent qualification at the point of application.
     
  • Hold the appropriate qualifications for your rank.
     
  • Hold a valid UK drivers licence.
