The Role:

As a Building Control Support Officer, you can make your own powerful contribution to people across Westminster. Responsible for registering and processing all types of business control applications on time and to protocol, you’ll ensure the effective organisation and indexing of both hard copy and electronic applications in our Document Management System. 

 

You’ll maintain accurate and timely case records, ensuring the correct fees have been paid for applications, and that customers enquires are handled quickly and efficiently. Acting as a source of support to your colleagues, and guidance to our customers, you’ll share your knowledge and expertise with those around you.

About You:

An established professional with experience of working in a building control environment, you’ll have a relevant qualification in building studies or a related subject. You may have worked with computerised record keeping, ideally including a document management system, and will have actioned financial transactions in a previous role. Having interacted with project design teams to assist surveyors, you’ll have great interpersonal and communication skills.
