We cover planning, investment, infrastructure, transport and place management services. We have an integrated offer to support the economic growth ambitions of the council, including a dedicated Economic Development Unit tasked to support the supply side of growth and an ideal position from which to optimise revenue returns to support its core activities.

With 12,000 planning applications every year – more than anywhere else in the UK – plus over 50,000 enterprises across a huge array of industries – there is always a challenge to be faced.
