Salary range: £32,076 - £34,834 per annum
Work location: County Hall, Oxford (Agile working)
Hours per week: 37- we are open to discussions about flexible working  
Contract type: Fixed Term for 2 years
Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a Criminal Records Check.

About us

 

Strengthening Families seek to help children thrive and increase parental resilience during painful and complex moments in family. Strengthening Families will provide a "wrap around" service offering practical, calming support to families in need, with the purpose of de-escalating situations.

 

 

About the team

 

We are a small dedicated team, who are connected to the Family help service, work across all teams within Family solutions. We cover the county of Oxfordshire but work smartly to ensure big impact and big outcomes for children. Having now completed the first 12 months testing and learning what works, we are now seeking to expand the team to increase our reach to more families.

 

 

About you

 

An agile and dynamic worker who can quickly build trust with families in moments of stress. A practitioner who is actively listening and who can provide SMART recommendations to steer families through challenging situations. A child focused individual who is driven to keep families together and achieve the very best outcomes for children despite the challenges they face.
