About us

We have an exciting opportunity for Social Workers/Senior Practitioners to join our newly-established Integrated Assessment Team (IAS). In IAS, you will focus on Section 17 Child & Family Assessments. All assessments begin with a multi-disciplinary planning meeting to ensure our assessments are meaningful, focused and timely. We are determined that children and their families receive the right help, at the right time through proportionate assessments that clearly distinguish between need, risk and harm.

We also have an exciting opportunity for 4 Senior Practitioners to join our exciting new team – the Integrated Safeguarding Investigation Team. In ISIT, you will be part of a Section 47 investigation team responding to new referrals for children where there is evidence they are suffering, or at risk of suffering, significant harm. Working with partner agencies, you will quickly assess any risk to children and work with their families to form safe plans for them, while completing a Child & Family Assessment to determine the best plan of further support. Although your involvement with children and their families will only be for the time of a Section 47 enquiry and Child & Family Assessment, you will play a key role in ensuring robust plans of support are formed where a Child In Need or Child Protection Plan is required.

Please confirm your preference on your application form.
