We have 2 exciting opportunities within Oxfordshire Quality Assurance Service for Independent Reviewing Officers (IRO) to join our team of established Chairs/ IRO's.
About you and the role
These posts will give you the opportunity to share your expertise and knowledge and to provide the insight and accountability for monitoring the progress of children's plans in a robust and timely way to ensure the effectiveness of their needs and wishes in line with our statutory requirements.
We are looking for post holders who can support the delivery of a high-quality services to ensure the best outcomes for Oxfordshire Children. The two posts available are for specialisms with the IRO Service, one working with our Unaccompanied Children and Young People and one with young people aged 16 and 17.
This post requires the appointee to be a qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England. In addition you will have relevant experience at a management level in children's social care or equivalent non statutory services.
