Salary range: £24,702 - £26,873 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £14,328 - £15,940 per annum)

Work location: Thorpe Lane, Banbury

Hours per week: 25 

Contract type: Permanent – Term-Time Only

Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a Criminal Records Check

Here at Fleet Services, we pride ourselves on the conveying of vulnerable people using fully trained staff in specialised passenger vehicles in accordance with service requirements.

 

 

About the role

 

The main duties are to assist in the safe conveyance of service users to/from SEN schools, and Adult and Learning Disability Day Services, for various activities and respite care needs.  This will require helping service users, leaving their homes, boarding the vehicle, alighting from the vehicle and making their way to the appropriate service in a safe and dignified manner.

 

You will be required to work co-operatively with the vehicle driver and any other staff involved to ensure that passenger movements and journeys are completed safely and effectively to accomplish the desired outcome.

 

To maintain our high standards of customer care, accuracy, safety and effectiveness in all work tasks and a mature disciplined approach to our duties.
 

 

About you

 

Although no formal qualifications are required for this post requires you to hold a full driving licence with a D, D1 or D1 101. You should have a good standard of general education and the ability to communicate and share information. The ability to deal with challenging situations and be comfortable around people with learning and physical disabilities.
