Salary range: £24,702 - £26,873 pro-rata per annum 

Work location: Community Support Service, Abingdon    

Hours per week: 37 (part time and casual positions are also available) - we are open to discussions about flexible working  

Contract type: Permanent 

Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a criminal records check

We are recruiting full, part time and casual Support Workers at Abingdon Community Support Service due to an increased number of people being supported both within the building and for outreach activities.

About the role

 

We are seeking a flexible and motivated Support Worker/Driver to be part of a team which provides the highest standards of activities, personal care and support to people whose needs may include: Learning Disability, Mental Health, Autism, Dementia, other age related needs or feeling vulnerable or isolated.
 

Driving is an essential part of the role as we collect people, take them out within the community during the day and return them home at the end of day.

 

 

About you

 

For the above position you will need to be able to deliver support in all aspects of daily living and personal care in a dignified and confidential manner whilst promoting independence and helping an individual to achieve their aims and goals.
 

Previous experience within a care and support, and driving role is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
