Covid working

We have adapted our working practices to enable us to continue to provide the best support possible to children and families, whilst ensuring that our teams feel safe, as we continue to work through the Covid-19 pandemic. Social Workers in our statutory teams currently work both at home and in the office when on Duty. We know that not everyone is able to work from home, so we offer dedicated office-based workstations when needed. We also offer flexible hours, so that when needed, our staff can work at times best suited to them and their families.

We hold regular briefings online from managers, and provide face to face support when needed. Throughout the pandemic, we have offered pastoral support to our colleagues on both a one to one and team basis, and our Principal Social Worker leads regular sessions to ensure that staff stay connected.
