Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) is one of the busiest fire and rescue services in the UK. We serve a population of nearly two million people, providing crucial lifesaving services to our communities. However, our work is not all about responding to emergencies. We also assess fire and rescue related risks that could affect our community - whether they are local, cross-border, multi-authority and/or national in nature, from fires to terrorist attacks.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Project Support Officer. The role will be to support the delivery of the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) project to ensure delivery of required products and benefits, within the specified tolerances of time, cost quality, scope, and risk.

To be successful in the role, it is essential that you are competent in the use of ICT systems and creating Office 365 documents, including clear and concise documentation. You will need the ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment, where planning and prioritising is key. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working with stakeholders, and external consultants and colleagues.
