The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operational Service Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our firefighters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Time Management: Optimize your time to ensure efficient delivery of L&D courses and support activities, aligning with the L&D Business Plan and delivery models.
- Resource Optimization: Utilize equipment and resources efficiently to maximize training effectiveness.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with internal and external departments to support income generation through training initiatives, such as Service Exercises, Prevention teams, LRF, 3SFire, and other agency training.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities and work across different departments as needed to support the overall goals of the organization.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant training and assessment qualifications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Passion for training and development.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in delivering training within the fire service.
- Knowledge of current fire service regulations and standards.
- Commitment to safety and excellence.
