The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operational Lead Service Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of trainers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training programs that meet the evolving needs of our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of trainers, setting clear expectations and providing effective guidance and support.
- Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, ensuring compliance with national standards and best practices.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of training curriculums, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of training delivery.
- Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Operational Competence: Maintain a high level of operational competence and ensure that your team is equipped to deliver realistic and challenging training scenarios.
- Project Management: Contribute to L&D projects and initiatives as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in training and assessment within the fire service.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Relevant training and assessment qualifications.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in managing and developing teams.
- Knowledge of current fire service regulations and standards.
- A passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
