Job Details:
Salary Range: £30,384 per annum (Development Rate)
£38,881 per annum (Competent Rate - after 2 years, subject to assessment)
Pay award pending
Work Location: Across Hampshire and Isle of Wight
Important: After completing your training, you will be assigned to a Fire Station based on operational need. This could be at any station across Hampshire or the Isle of Wight. You must be willing and able to travel across the whole area
Hours per week: 42 (including evenings, weekends and public holidays)
Contract Type: Permanent

What you’ll do:
In this role, you will:
- Respond to emergencies such as fires, road traffic collisions, floods and rescues
- Work in communities to help prevent emergencies and reduce risk
- Provide safety advice
- Support vulnerable people to stay safe and independent
- Work closely with other emergency services and partner organisations
This role is physically and mentally demanding. You will work in challenging environments and may attend distressing or traumatic incidents. You will be trained and supported to deal with these situations as part of a professional team.
No previous firefighting experience is needed - we provide full training.

Eligibility Requirements:
