The Role:

 

As a Project Administrator in the Capital Delivery Team, you will keep things running smoothly. Our Head of Capital Delivery will rely on you for expert project and secretarial support, while the wider team will benefit from your diligent approach to daily operational and administrative duties. You will make a meaningful contribution to process improvement through taking a lead in certain actions, where you will collect data, engage with colleagues and discuss areas for improvement. 

 

Your office management responsibilities will range from handling calls and correspondence, through to keeping stock and supplies replenished. Maintaining an efficient team tracker and brought forward system, you will be instrumental in making sure our diverse team meets its varied deadlines. You will also be responsible for preparing and minuting meetings. 

 

Along the way, you will liaise with staff at every level of the Council, and build relationships with a range of partner organisations. Working on a hybrid basis, you will spend your time between home and our vibrant office. As part of a dynamic service, you can look forward to opportunities for training and development.

About You:

 

To join us, you will need proven experience as an executive support assistant or PA. It is essential that you have a flair for prioritising and managing multiple tasks across a diverse workload. Together with excellent administrative and organisational skills, you demonstrate keen attention to detail. We expect you to have strong IT skills and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite. Crucially, you will also bring to the role a talent for engaging, collaborating and building friendly and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
