Salary range: Soulbury Salary Scale A 2-7 (£39,062 – £48,383) plus up to 3 SPA points
Work location: Abbey House, Abingdon; Samuelson House, Banbury; or Knights Court, Oxford
Hours per week: 37
Contract type: Permanent
Closing date: Sunday 8th March 2020

Although the vacancy is currently available applications will also be welcome from third year TEPs looking for a September 2020 start date.
It is anticipated that newly qualified EPs would start at point 4.
Successful candidates may be eligible to claim up to £8000 in relocation expenses.

About our service

Oxfordshire Educational Psychology Service consists of a friendly, supportive team of Educational Psychologists, Assistant Educational Psychologists and dedicated administrative support staff. We benefit from close links with training courses and value the contribution of Trainee EPs to our service each year. We are in a position to expand to meet increasing demand for high quality service delivered from an established traded service with schools and other partners. All EPs have a balance of traded and statutory work. We have a key role in ensuring that an outcome focused, person centred approach becomes embedded in local policy and practice.

We are looking for someone who:

•    Is, or will be, a professionally qualified Educational Psychologist with registration to the HCPC
•    Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults.
•    Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•    Dedication to personal development 
•    Is committed to working within a consultative framework 
•    Actively promotes equal opportunities
•    Is enthusiastic, creative and determined to make a positive impact on children’s lives through the application of psychology
