Salary range: £20,852 - £23,023 pro-rata, per annum (plus travel time and mileage allowance @45p per mile)

Work location: Ron Groves House – Community based role

Hours per week: 18 - 37 hours per week -  we are open to discussions about flexible working

Contract type: Permanent

We have vacancies, full time and part time in our North Team that covers Banbury, surrounding villages, as well as Bicester and Kidlington, for Disabled Children’s support workers.

 

 

About us

 

The service supports some amazing children who have a disability. The role involves supporting these young people with personal care in their own home, and also enabling them to access their local community, assisting them to participate in activities they enjoy.

 

 

About you and the role

 

You will receive full support, ongoing training and development opportunities, and be part of friendly and committed team.

 

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate, excellent communication skills, empathy, understanding and respect.

 

You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car to be able to get to the young people’s homes in a timely manner, some of whom live in rural locations.

 

The role can be demanding but hugely rewarding, so enthusiasm, flexibility, patience, and a sense of fun is essential.
