Salary range: £39,186 - £42,403 per annum 

Work location: County Hall, Oxford

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working  

Contract type: Permanent 

Vetting requirements: This roles is subject to a criminal records check

About us

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced quality assurance officer to assist with developing and delivering on a comprehensive quality assurance programme in relation to safeguarding adults. This will include the co-ordination of audit work, the collation and analysis of data and information and the presentation of assurance and audit findings to facilitate continued learning and development across Oxfordshire's safeguarding partnership.

 

 

About the role

 

The Safeguarding Board and its partners are committed to Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) and wishes to seek continued assurance that any safeguarding interventions are in line with the wishes of the adult at risk and support resolution which enhances involvement, choice and control and improves quality of life, wellbeing and safety.

 

You will be instrumental in identifying good practice as well as areas for development and helping to provide targeted support and guidance to teams where learning needs are evident. You will work closely with Board Member organisations to collate information and ascertain common themes, then working with colleagues, use this information to facilitate and improve upon learning, development and practice improvement.

 

 

About you

 

The post is a new role to the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board and was created in response to a review of its safeguarding quality assurance work. This led to the additional investment of a new post to support and improve its quality assurance function.

 

To be successful in this role you will need you will need significant safeguarding experience and excellent communication skills, with a track record of embracing and implementing change. You will need to have a positive outlook and the enthusiasm to drive forward this exciting and influential agenda.
