Senior Legal Support Assistant

Job Details:

Job Reference: HCC619354
Salary Range: £24,405 - £25,430 per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester
Hours per week: 37
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: 6 December 2024

The Role:

Working for Hampshire Legal Services as part of the Business Support Team, you'll co-ordinate and provide a comprehensive range of business support to individual lawyers. The work includes creating and formatting documents, land registry searches, sorting and scanning of daily post and arranging the signing and sealing of legal documents and contracts. You'll take responsibility for ensuring tasks required by solicitors are completed efficiently and within appropriate timescales. This is a fast-paced working environment completing general admin tasks for lawyers, where much of our work is time critical. This is a role which could lead to progression within the service or the wider organisation.

To be successful in the role, you need to be proactive, efficient and have the ability to produce work to a high standard. Work produced is often of a sensitive nature and therefore awareness of the importance of confidentiality is of paramount importance. Ideally with a business support background, you'll be an effective communicator with experience of using a variety of manual and computerised systems. You'll have excellent time management skills with the flexibility to adapt to business demands and customer needs, with a willingness to undertake appropriate training where relevant.

Although this job is hybrid, this is mainly an in-office role. Hybrid potential will be considered once training has been completed.
