Are you looking for a challenging and diverse role working as part of a friendly and supportive Employee Relations team, with the opportunity to make a real difference in a leading local authority?

We are looking for a Senior HR Adviser to coach and empower managers across these organisations to confidently deal with the most complex employee relations issues.

These are challenging, yet highly rewarding roles, that will expose you to new HR experiences and opportunities unique to supporting the variety of roles within the Council.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for individuals with relevant complex employee relations casework experience and expertise with a pragmatic approach to solving problems, identifying risk and recommending options. You will also need to demonstrate a good grounding in employment law and best practice and be a highly effective communicator, able to quickly build rapport, advise, influence and critically challenge.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to put the customer at the heart of everything you do and have the drive to help deliver quality and timely outcomes for the organisation. Excellent IT skills, time management and attention to detail are essential for accurately recording case notes on our systems, analysing reports and monitoring customer feedback.

What We Can Offer You:
There is plenty of support available from the wider People and Organisation Directorate, plus opportunities for development and training.

We are based in an award-winning modern city-centre building with access to excellent facilities and close to local transport links. You will also be expected to occasionally travel to customers across Hampshire, although as an organisation we have embraced digital ways of working to enable virtual meetings and conversations to take place where possible. We will provide you with essential IT and office equipment to enable you to work flexibly where required.

You will also benefit from a generous employment package including a competitive annual leave entitlement, local government pension, flexible working opportunities and employee loans for travel costs, amongst our many other benefits.
