Senior Administrative Assistant (Legal Intervention Team, Inclusion Support Service)

Salary Range: £23,115 - £24,140 per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth Court II, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
Hours per week: 37 (part-time hours will be considered) 
Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a confident and competent Senior Administrative Assistant to provide diverse administrative support to our team. We can offer great flexible working options for this role; although you will be based in Winchester, this role can be carried out remotely but with some office-based working required to support business needs.

Your administrative skills and talent for organisation will be highly valued here in the Hampshire County Council. You will be working in a friendly team and will be a valued part of a highly reputable organisation. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, plus GCSE passes at grade C or above in Maths and English. You should have good IT skills and be confident in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent communication skills are essential within this role as you'll be in frequent contact with colleagues within the department as well as external parties. You'll need a positive and flexible approach to teamwork and the ability to work with your own initiative.
 

  • Administer the Attendance Legal Process for unpaid Penalty Notices relating to unauthorised holiday’s 
  • Provide an efficient service on the phone and via email when dealing with internal and external communication  
  • Typing of letters and meeting invitations  
  • Generate documents within the Attendance Legal process including Warnings 
  • Records management including scanning and indexing within timescales  
  • Manipulation and presentation of data and data inputting including MOSAIC and LIT databases 
  • Procurement  
  • Manage the team email inbox and respond to general enquiries 
  • Attend supervision, team meetings, team days and training as required
