The Role:

Joining our friendly and dynamic Public Health Business Support Team as a Personal Assistant to the Director of Public Health and Associate Director of Public Health, you can advance your career in administration while playing a key role in the smooth running of our high-performing team. We are an integral part of the Public Health Team, passionate about preventing ill health and addressing health inequalities in our communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
 

What you'll do:

  • Provide high-quality diary management and responsive administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinate meetings and training events, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and monitor subsequent actions.
  • Ensure excellent efficiency and communication, contributing to the smooth running of all aspects of service delivery, leadership, and governance.
  • Manage incoming correspondence and emails, exercising independent judgment to initiate appropriate action.
  • Work collaboratively with partners to resolve complex enquiries using your excellent communication skills and diplomacy.
     

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant to senior managers.
  • First-class organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
