The Role:
As an Intelligence Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance and continuous development of our Customer Relationship Management system Arcus Global and managing other technical platforms which support service delivery. It’s an exciting time to join the service following the recent launch of this new CRM system which has the potential to transform how the service approaches service delivery.
This role requires proficiency in system management principles and approaches with an interest in technology-led solutions. You will collaborate with the service to understand their requirements and will drive the continual evolution of the Salesforce based Arcus Global system. Alongside your work in shaping our central system, you will also lead the development of technology-based operational improvements by utilising Office365 apps including MS Power Apps, MS Forms, MS Power Automate and more where the opportunity arises. You will support operational teams by assisting with the management of specialist software packages and will lead on the management of operational data through the maintenance and improvement of our SharePoint site.
Trading Standards work on behalf of several government bodies to support the compliance and regulation of laws developed to keep people safe and businesses trading fairly. These laws cover a variety of areas, for example, Animal Health (eg. disease management), Animal Feed (eg. ensuring food remains safe from farm to fork), Product Safety (eg. testing products for safe use), Fair Trading (eg. investigating scams) and Food Safety (eg. testing food samples). By analysing and interpreting data and supporting service development projects, you will help to shape how the service can best respond to these competing priority areas.
