The Role:

Hampshire County Council IT is looking for an experienced Business Analyst for an 18 month contract to support the organisation in the delivery of its IT programmes.

The role involves liaising with staff in departments, running workshops and meetings and documenting requirements.

It is essential that the successful applicant has extensive experience of conducting business analysis on complex IT and/or business change projects in large organisations, articulating business ideas, suggestions and problems in technology terms. You must also have proven experience of: 

 

  • Interpreting and analysing complex and disparate information
  • Identifying interdependencies 
  • Understanding constraints
  • Scoping and sizing solutions
  • Managing and controlling changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with project stakeholders
  • Successfully balancing conflicting demands
