The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity within our highly successful Education Financial Services (EFS) for a Finance Adviser to join our friendly and supportive team.

 

This is an excellent role to join a leading local authority, providing a range of financial services to schools and other Children's Services establishments. You will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach with good interpersonal skills and be able to meet the travel requirements of the post and work occasionally in the evenings.

 

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for a number of schools providing support and advice to school staff on all aspects of financial management and administration. You will have great customer care skills, with a flexible and enthusiastic approach, being able to adapt your style to all different stakeholders.

 

With good accounting knowledge and holding an AAT level 3 qualification or appropriate qualification with significant school’s experience (e.g. CSBM). You will be able to demonstrate confidence and determination to achieve the best results for our customers. Experience in using financial systems to extract and interpret relevant information is required.

 

The role is currently based at Falcon House Professional Centre, Winchester, however will be relocating to another Winchester location by the end of 2024.
