We are recruiting for a Contract Manager to manage our wide array of contracts and suppliers within Hampshire County Council covering IT Services, Infrastructure, Software and Applications.

 

Working in the Service Management Team you will input into the evolvement and implementation of the policies and practices necessary for commercial and contract negotiation, establishment, service oversight and compliance of major IT contracts.

 

To be successful in the role, you need to have strong planning and organisational skills. You need to be comfortable leading with service improvements whilst also working on cost savings and efficiency initiatives. We need you to be a strong team player with the ability to react positively to change, be proactive and highly motivated. Ideally, you will have experience working with legal professional services and hold the ITIL Service Management qualification.

Hampshire County Council operate a hybrid working model which allows flexibility for staff to work some days in the office and others at home, depending on work commitments. Our IT Hub is based in the City of Winchester. The recruiting manager and successful candidate will review where the most effective location will be for the needs of the role and the requirements of the service.
