Salary Range: £38,092 - £42,389 per annum
Work Location: Three Minsters House, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
Hours per week: up to 37 hours per week (Part time may be considered)
Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

Property Services is a Hampshire County Council in-house team of multi-disciplinary construction professionals and specialist support staff delivering a range of property functions ranging from new build, refurbishments, and extensions through to maintenance and compliance activities. It encompasses the Hampshire County Council estate and those of our partner organisations and will include schools, offices and libraries.


As part of your role, you will assist with the delivery of a strategy to manage risks relating to buildings under the responsibility of property services (with particular focus on building maintenance), providing the necessary assurance and evidencing through a structured approach of checking, monitoring, auditing, and reporting.


You will ensure the work carried out by framework contractors meets the required quality and defined specification fulfilling the safety, statutory, and compliance obligations. In addition, you will support and build a culture of strong risk management and compliance, through a collaborative approach.


Ideally you will have a background in commercial building maintenance with statutory and non-statutory compliance integral to that. You will have experience ensuring that contractors deliver to keep your buildings safe and functional.
