Hours per week: 37 (part-time hours will be considered)

The Role:

Join our diverse Provider and Carer Payments Team within our Adults’ Health and Care and Children’s Services directorates, and develop a career in administration and finance, whilst making a real difference to the lives of Hampshire residents. What you'll do:

  • Accurately resolve complex financial queries and ensure care payments are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Deal with a high volume of queries via our email inbox, authorise payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Help improve our current processes and policies.
  • Build supportive and collaborative internal and external working relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Person-centred and resilient, with the ability to take responsibility for your work.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • First-class numeracy and IT skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills to become an active, adaptable, and involved member of our uniquely skilled team.
  • Transferable skills or relevant experience in a customer-facing or numerate role will also be considered.
