If you are highly motivated, love engaging with people and want to be part of an inspiring team, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for an exceptional colleague to work with the Fostering Recruitment and Assessment team to help find families to meet the needs of the children in our care.

Together, we will inspire people to take the step to foster for Hampshire and help us achieve our aims to grow our community of foster carers to meet the needs of our most vulnerable children and respond to an increased demand for foster homes.

This one year maternity cover role, will lead and deliver our events and community partnership programme, focusing on generating initial enquiries from prospective foster carers and increasing awareness of Fostering in Hampshire.

Working closely with colleagues in Marketing, and in Fostering Recruitment & Assessment, as well as with our foster carers, you will promote the rewards of fostering to the Hampshire community and help recruit foster carers from a wider variety of backgrounds to care for children in our care.

In this role you will have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the transformation of fostering services, and recruitment marketing, enabling you to make a significant difference to the lives of people who become foster carers and, most importantly, to the children that they go on to care for.

We recognise that a proportion of this role requires flexibility in working weekends (for example one or two Saturdays per month depending on the time of the year and demand) and occasional evenings, which will be planned in advanced and with TOIL (Time owed in lieu) offered.

Please note you will be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and surrounding areas, and therefore need to have a car and have the ability to travel.
