Salary Range: £25,628 - £28,326 per annum 
Work Location: Farnborough Library, Farnborough (Hybrid Working can be discussed)
Hours per week: 37 (Part time hours may be considered) 
Contract Type: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Adult Learning Team within Hampshire Library Service.

 

You will lead on coordinating and promoting a programme of learning within Hart & Rushmoor libraries. This learning is designed to help develop the skills, confidence, motivation and resilience of adults of different ages and backgrounds. As well as this, we aim to support progression towards formal learning or employment or improved health and wellbeing. You will work within a small Learning in Libraries team based across the county as well as working closely with local Library Managers and branch staff. You will be responsible for leading a team of Tutors for your area.
 
You should be passionate about libraries, community and lifelong learning and its role in developing strong and resilient communities. We are looking for a self-starter, who is motivated to work with a level of autonomy when working alone but able to work well with the wider team, tutors, learners and partners. 


You will be required to visit the libraries in Hart & Rushmoor, as well as occasional travel to other areas of Hampshire for meetings and team days.


We would welcome an applicant with a strong background and experience in delivering education programmes within government funded contract delivery.

Travel Requirements

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis
