The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering/supporting our Supported Internship and Pathways programmes through this role as a skills coach.

Hampshire Achieves is a part of the Participation and Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services Directorate, with the responsibility for delivering learning to young people and adults.

A core requirement of the role is to build and maintain effective and professional relationships with learners, taking a strength-based approach in supporting them to achieve their learning aims. In class, Skills Coaches provide 1:1 and small group support, helping learners complete tasks, applying sound coaching techniques to ensure they develop the skills to thrive as independent learner. If you have the experience of working closely with vulnerable/SEN learners in an education or training setting and have excellent support skills, then this could be an ideal opportunity. This post may require you to travel and work county wide.

We invite you to submit your application and you are required to submit a CV and covering letter to be considered for shortlisting.
