The Role:

Joining our small and friendly team as a Senior Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide crucial administrative support to our Contact, Assessment and Resolution Team (CART) and our Adults’ Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). These teams handle telephone calls, web chat and online enquiries and are the first point of contact for people seeking support from Adults’ Health and Care or raising safeguarding concerns.

In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you’ll use your excellent communication skills to establish internal networks of contacts and respond to routine enquiries both verbally and in writing. Your prioritisation and organisational skills, as well as resilience and adaptability, are essential for the role of Senior Administrative Assistant and will support you in approaching your varied tasks flexibly and confidently.

 

Following training and using your Microsoft 365 skills, including Word and Excel, you'll use a range of IT systems to provide accurate information and reports within agreed timescales. Your previous administrative experience and background of working in a customer focused environment will enable you to provide the highest standard of customer service, whilst supporting your colleagues to deliver a robust and resilient service.

 

In this hybrid working role, you’ll be home based for part of the week and based in the office for a minimum of two days per week, with the option to work from the office more frequently if preferred. During your induction and training you will be expected to be in the office daily for 6-8 weeks. Your working pattern will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
