Teacher (Primary Behaviour Service) HCC615666

Job Details:

Salary Range: Main/Upper Pay Scale (plus SEN allowance)
Work Location: The Keppel Centre, Eastleigh
Hours per week: 32.5
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing date: 28 April 2024

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, fully qualified teacher to join the Primary Behaviour Service in Hampshire!

The Primary Behaviour Service is a team of dedicated practitioners with extensive experience of working in Hampshire primary schools to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being. We are a referral-based service offering outreach and inreach support for primary aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

In this role you will have the chance to use your skills in a brand-new way, stretching your talents and supporting children that need help the most. Day to day you will advise on behaviour management strategies; model outstanding classroom practice and teach directly, as part of inreach support to schools. You will be liaising with Headteacher and Senior Leader colleagues around strategies to engage children in school. In addition, you will be a key member of the centre-based team who takes on a significant amount of whole school training to build capacity within school settings.

We are looking for a teacher of the highest calibre, with specific experience in primary school education. You should be fully qualified, able to co-operate with other key professionals, willing to travel and ready to engage with parents including those who may not value education. Tenacious, understanding and good with people, you will be a natural diplomat who recognises the challenges faced by all involved and have the skills to facilitate progression.
