The Role:

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Clinical Lead with a specialist qualification to join our supportive and dynamic team at Hampshire County Council.  

 

Our Occupational Health (OH) Team comprises Occupational Health Advisers, Screening Technicians and an administration team, with a contracted-in Occupational Health Physician provision. We provide a service to a diverse working population including Hampshire County Council, Hampshire schools and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a quality Occupational Health Service. You will also be managing, leading and coaching the team. This will involve enabling the team to ensure that they are successful, achieving required individual and team performance standards, achieving their potential. You will also be responsible for recruiting and retaining talent. In addition, you will represent the OH Team in key business, project and stakeholder meetings ensuring we develop and successfully deliver a quality Occupational Health Service to our service partners.

About You:

You will be a registered Nurse with a specialist qualification in occupational health and on Part 3 of the NMC register.

 

You will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering an effective occupational service at a strategic level, including commercial and contract management. You need to be able to prioritise multiple demands from a variety of sources.

 

You will also be an experienced leader with excellent people skills including influencing, persuading and motivating. You will have strong focus on supporting the learning and wellbeing of the clinical team.
