The Role:

We are looking for a Highway Development Agreements (HDA) Inspector to support a busy team ensuring highway development throughout Hampshire is safe and built to suitable standards. In this role you will inspect developer schemes on site and record construction to ensure schemes can be adopted and maintained by Hampshire County Council Highways. 


Key to your role will be your ability to understand complex developments and strong ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. You will undertake site inspections and liaise with the Developers and their Consultants/Contractors playing a key role in ensuring the integrity of the works to be adopted.

 

You will be a conscientious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated person who is reliable, keen to learn and a hard-working individual. You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with good IT skills. The ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the role is also essential.
