The Role:

Within our older adults’ homes, we aim to create a warm and welcoming environment where our Receptionist can provide a friendly and professional service, helping create a positive experience for visitors from the start. What you'll do:

  • Welcome visitors to the home: Act as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they receive a warm and professional welcome and are directed to the appropriate person, or correct location within the home.
  • Answer telephone enquiries: Use your customer-focused approach to answer all telephone calls efficiently, professionally and in a friendly manner.
  • Maintain our home’s positive reputation: Deliver high standards of customer care to our residents, their families, friends and other visitors to the home.


What we're looking for:

  • Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with residents, families, and colleagues.

  • Good IT skills: Experience of using MO365 applications, including Outlook and Excel.

This role involves working one Sunday shift per week, for which enhancements are paid in line with the HCC salary policy. Choose your preferred working hours: 9am – 4.30pm or 8.30am – 4pm and enjoy a balanced work-life routine.
