Help and support residents who’ve been referred to our Aids & Adaptations team

At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and businesses at the heart of everything we do, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective, and efficient. Committed to acting with openness, honesty, and compassion, we aim to listen and understand in a way that is respectful, encourages involvement and meets the needs of all our communities.

The Role:

Join us in this new role and you’ll carry out a wide range of administrative duties for the Aids & Adaptation Team. Providing high quality support to council and private sector residents who’ve been referred to the team, you’ll act as the first point of contact for enquiries, monitor the service’s email and telephone, and maintain the relevant databases. Liaising with users to establish the progress of any outstanding work and responding to requests from clients for updates on adaptations or equipment, you’ll also assist with resident surveys and the collation of feedback.

You’ll have a number of additional responsibilities – these include sending tender information and consent to adaptation work forms to residents, and recording the proceedings at any meetings you attend. We’ll also expect you to support the team at service engagement events, submit performance monitoring data, and keep case records up to date. Fully conversant with the Council’s Health & Safety policy, you’ll be committed to carrying out your work with regard to equity and diversity, GDPR, the Freedom of Information Act and the maintenance of confidentiality and choice.
