Salary range: £43,421- £46,464 per annum  

Work location: County Hall, Oxford and home working 

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working  

Contract type: Permanent

About the role

 

We have created new teams in our growing climate action service.  Our role of Zero Carbon Oxfordshire Policy and Projects Lead will lead on providing expert support for the development of policy and strategy across the organisation to deliver our ambition of a net zero county.  This role will ensure the council has performance measures, evidence and data to support reporting on progress. 

 

 

About you

 

We’re looking for a strong strategic thinker, excellent communicator and confident partnership worker.  You will have strong project management skills, expert knowledge of the net zero agenda and experience of developing strategies to drive change, including in partnership. Being able to build working relationships and effectively communicate complex, professional advice is vital.
