Salary range: £43,421 - £46,464 per annum

Work location: County Hall, Oxford 

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working 

Contract type: Temporary for 13 months (maternity cover)

About the role

 

Though you’ll report directly to the Zero Carbon Council Manager, this role has an impact on everybody within Oxfordshire. You will be developing, monitoring delivery, identify risks and mitigation with stakeholders and engaging people with our internal carbon management plan, identifying our pathway to net zero by 2030 for operational emissions, support to schools to reduce emissions and promoting and maintaining carbon literacy training programme.

About you

 

You’ll have experience of working to reduce organisational carbon emissions and a working knowledge of energy management principles. Ideally, you’ll have experience of using environmental management systems.
