We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior IT Consultant to join our high-performing Desktop Support team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT professional to take a leading role in shaping and supporting modern desktop and mobile technologies within a large enterprise environment.
The Role:
As a Senior IT Consultant, you will act as a technical subject matter expert, providing advanced support for complex incidents and driving continuous improvement across device support services. You will contribute to the development and implementation of modern endpoint management solutions while helping to shape technical direction and best practice across IT Services.
The role combines hands-on technical expertise with consultancy, collaboration, and mentoring responsibilities. You will work closely with project teams, service management, and operational support colleagues to ensure services remain secure, efficient, and aligned to evolving organisational needs.
You will also play an important role in supporting and developing less experienced colleagues through mentoring, knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and technical guidance.
What you’ll do:
- Provide 3rd line technical support for desktop and mobile technologies
- Lead on technical improvements and service development initiatives
- Manage and resolve complex technical incidents and problems
- Provide technical advice and consultancy to projects and stakeholders
- Support the delivery of modern workplace and cloud-based solutions
- Promote IT standards, policies, processes, and best practices
- Mentor and support junior team members and colleagues
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in a 3rd line support or senior technical support role, with a strong background in desktop infrastructure and cloud technologies.
You will have proven experience in leading technical initiatives and supporting enterprise endpoint management environments, alongside strong communication and mentoring skills.
You should have demonstrable expertise in the following areas:
- Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Intune:
- Windows Autopilot
- Device provisioning and lifecycle management
- Compliance and configuration policies
- Software deployment and application management
• Application Packaging:
- Packaging, deployment, and support of enterprise applications
• PowerShell:
- Automation, scripting, and operational improvement

- Technically strong with excellent problem-solving skills

- Able to work collaboratively across teams and projects
- Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
