The Role:

Hampshire County Council is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer for the Transport & Environmental Design team within Hampshire Engineering Services. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals with a good working knowledge of the design and project management of development and water management schemes.

What you’ll do:

In this role you will have an opportunity to be involved in a range of schemes from inception through to completion. Using your existing skills, you will design and deliver cost effective solutions in accordance with the relevant design standards.


The role will also provide scope to develop existing skills and progress your career with exposure to a diverse project workload. Hampshire Engineering Services is focused on technical excellence; we provide a supportive environment in which to develop our staff to ensure careers thrive.

What we’re looking for:

You will be educated to degree or BTEC Higher standard in Civil Engineering with substantial demonstrable experience in the design and construction of development and water management projects.

 

Alongside your design experience, you will need excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
